Logging injections
How do I log an injection?
Choose your vial on the inject screen, pull the syringe's plunger to your dose and tap I've injected. Rather type it? Tap the large number and enter the dose.
How do I set a very precise dose?
While you pull, move your finger up or down, away from the syringe. The plunger slows down and you'll see Fine-tuning.
I logged something by mistake
Tap Undo straight away. Whatever came off your stock goes back. You can also fix it later: tap the injection under Recent injections to change the amount, time or note, or delete it with the bin icon.
Why is my dose in ml?
Because your syringe measures in ml. Add a concentration to a vial and every injection also shows how much active substance it was, in mg, mcg or IU. INLO never converts units silently.
Which languages does INLO speak?
English and Dutch. INLO follows your iPhone's language. To use a different language for INLO only, tap Language in More. That opens your iPhone's Settings.
Vials and stock
How do I add a vial?
Go to Vials and tap +. Give the vial a name and a colour, choose the syringe size (from 0.3 to 10 ml) and enter the concentration if you know it. The free version has one active vial, INLO Pro as many as you need.
How do I keep track of what's left?
In More, under What you track, turn on Stock and reconstitution. It's part of INLO Pro. Then enter the vial's total volume. Each injection takes the dose off automatically. To also count what stays behind in the needle, turn on Count loss in the needle.
I reconstitute powder myself
With Stock and reconstitution on, choose Reconstitute powder under Concentration. Enter how much is in the vial and how much diluent you added. INLO works out the concentration from that, and nothing else: no dose.
My vial is empty
Tap New vial, full on that vial. If you reconstituted it, INLO asks whether you prepared the new one the same way.
What's the difference between archiving and deleting?
An archived vial no longer appears on the inject screen, but you can always restore it. In the free version, a restored vial counts as your one active vial. Deleting removes the vial and its reminders. Either way, your injections stay in your history.
Reminders and sites
How do I set a reminder?
Tap the calendar button on the inject screen, or go to More and then Schedule and reminders. Choose the vial, the amount, Weekdays or Every few days, and the time. The free version has one reminder, INLO Pro as many as you need. No calendar button? In More, under What you track, turn on Reminders and schedule.
I'm not getting notifications
Check that notifications for INLO are turned on in your iPhone's Settings app. If they're off, Schedule and reminders tells you so, with a button that takes you there. With Skip if already injected on, you won't get a notification if you logged that dose shortly before.
Can I log from the notification?
Yes, when Buttons in the notification is on in More. I injected logs the injection right away, without opening the app. In 15 minutes reminds you again a little later.
How do injection sites work?
In More, under What you track, turn on Injection sites. It's part of INLO Pro. You then choose where you inject each time, and INLO suggests the site that has rested longest. Under Sites you use, choose which sites take part.
Privacy and your data
Can I lock INLO?
Yes. Turn on Lock with Face ID in More. INLO then asks for Face ID when it opens, or for Touch ID or your passcode if your iPhone doesn't have Face ID.
What can other people see on my Lock Screen?
Turn off Details in notifications and a notification only says ‘Time to take your medication!’, with no name or amount. Turn off Data in the widget and the widget shows only the logo.
How do I add the widget?
Touch and hold your Home Screen or Lock Screen and add the INLO widget. It shows when you last injected and when the next one is due. The widget is part of INLO Pro.
Can I export my injections?
Yes, in the free version too. In More, tap Export injections. You get a CSV file to open in Numbers or Excel, or to share with your doctor.
How do I erase everything?
In More, tap Erase all data. All injections, vials and reminders are removed from your iPhone. Your settings and your purchase stay. This can't be undone, so export anything you want to keep first.
INLO Pro
What's free and what's in Pro?
The free version logs with one vial and one reminder, with locking and export. Logging and export are always free. INLO Pro adds unlimited vials and reminders, injection sites, stock and reconstitution, statistics and widgets. You choose a yearly subscription or pay once, for good.
How does the free trial work?
With the yearly subscription you try INLO Pro for free first, if you're eligible. If notifications are on, you get a reminder two days before it ends. Cancel before the end and you pay nothing.
How do I cancel my subscription?
In More, tap Manage subscription, or go to your subscriptions in the App Store. If you later bought INLO Pro for good, cancel your yearly subscription yourself. It doesn't stop on its own.
What happens when Pro ends?
Nothing is deleted, changed or hidden. You still see extra vials, but you can't choose them for injecting, and extra reminders are no longer scheduled. Get Pro again and everything works straight away.
I bought Pro, but I don't see it
In More, tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought it with.
Other
Does INLO give advice about my dose?
No. INLO is a log. It only works with what you enter and never changes your schedule on its own. Always consult your doctor before making medical decisions.
How do I see the introduction again?
In More, tap Restart introduction. Your vials, injections and reminders stay just as they are.
